From the Founder

Hi, I’m Katja — founder of 24/7 AI Assistant.

I created Aila™ for immigration law firms because I’ve personally experienced how isolating and terrifying it can be to face legal uncertainty — especially when help is out of reach.

I’ve been a U.S. green card holder since the late ’90s. But after being stuck overseas during COVID, I faced serious re-entry issues. In 2024, I was threatened with deportation at the airport.

Like many immigrants, I didn’t have a working U.S. phone number at the time — and I couldn’t reach an attorney when I needed one most. That moment never left me.

Now, working with AI, I saw an opportunity to change that — to help attorneys support more people, even when their team is offline.
